While investigating a mysterious case of extreme sleepwalking and memory loss, a documentary production is derailed when the paranormal symptoms of their subject begin to affect the crew as well.
Blackout is an award winning mockumentary/found-footage web series and transmedia experience that was released in late 2018. The story follows documentary filmmakers Aliya and Talia as they investigate Ethan Reed and his unusual sleepwalking condition and the strange town he lives in.
In addition to the 12 episodes, the series featured an interactive alternate reality game. Audience members could interact with the characters in real time between episodes on social media, call Ethan on his phone and solve puzzles left by the mysterious Shelly on the doyousleepwalk forum.
