ABOUT

Kyle Power is a film and television editor from Toronto, Ontario. He graduated with honours from Sheridan College’s Media Arts program. He’s also an alumni of the Hot Docs International Film Festival’s “Doc Accelerator” program and the Toronto Metropolitan University’s “Transmedia Zone.”

He directed the short documentary film “Fire Academy,” which premiered at Hot Docs in 2012. In 2018 he created the Independent Production Fund and Ontario Creates financed web series “Blackout” which won the Best Horror award at the 2019 Webfest Berlin.

In 2024, Kyle received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for “Best Picture Editing, Reality/Competition” for his work on Canada’s Drag Race, Canada vs the World.
